  • FREE Try Tai Chi Workshop
    • When: Saturday January 12, 10:00am-12:00pm
    • Where: Merlino Arts Center, 508 Sixth Avenue #8
    • What: This free workshop is designed so you can learn more about Tai Chi Chuan, meet our teachers, see how we present Tai Chi Chuan in our classes, or just want to try Tai Chi.
  • Tuition
    • We charge $70-$100 per block of classes and practice sessions are by donation. Donations above the $70 amount will help to offset recent large increases in our rent.
    • Signing up for one class allows you to attend all other classes at no additional charge.
    • We are willing to work with students on tuition costs on a case-by-case basis.
  • Canceled 24-Posture Class: The Tuesday Evening (7:00-8:15pm) class has been canceled.

24-Posture Standard (Beijing) Form

We offer four different 24-Posture Standard Form classes. Three are appropriate for beginning and ongoing students and one is designed for intermediate and higher students. Each meets once per week over a five week block.

Yang 108-Posture Long Form

We offer a beginning course, an intermediate course, and a weekly refinement/practice session. The intermediate course assumes the student is familiar with either the fundamental principles of Tai Chi or the sequence of postures in the 108-Posture form. The weekly refinement/practice session is open to everyone and focuses on the Long Form. but periodically includes practice in Zhuang, Qigong, Sword, Buddha Tai Chi, and a Bagua Zhang “Black Dragon” form.

We are offering a class on a basic internal “Tai Chi” form that comes from the Buddhist tradition.
