Qigong Workshops
Qigong is an ancient Chinese exercise for healing and strengthening body and mind and preventing diseases. Qigong combines movement, meditation, and breathing as means of cultivating and enhancing the body’s natural internal energy (qi).
Fall 2010 Schedule
1. Qigong for Healthier Living I
Saturday, Sept. 18, 9 m-12 pm
Lily Qin, Instructor
This workshop will introduce ancient Chinese Qigong forms (Body Moving Qigong exercises and Meditation Forms) and teach a pattern for body-mind rejuvenation and energy cultivation. Stress management through Qigong techniques will also be taught, along with guided relaxation to achieve inner peace and to experience well-being. This workshop is appropriate for persons of all levels of Qigong experience and those who want to explore a complementary approach to health and healing.

2. Qigong for Healthier Living II
Saturday, Oct. 23, 9 am-12 pm
Lily Qin, Instructor
This workshop will introduce Chinese Qigong breathing techniques for healing and disease prevention. A set of Qigong routines including gentle stretch movements, meditation, and breathing will be taught and practiced. This workshop is appropriate for persons of all levels of Qigong experience.
Fee: $40
